Arbel. We also plan to look closely at an ancient boat exhibit and even take a boat ride on the Sea of Galilee! Tonight we head back to our hotel near Tiberias. Overnight: By the Sea of Galilee. This morning we depart a bit earlier and make our way to Tel Dan, where the golden calf temple of Jeroboam I was built (1 Kings 12). A little later we will stand on a hill to overlook into Syria, and visit the Talmudic Period site of Qatzrin. Overnight: By the Sea of Galilee. B, D.

At the bottom of the mountain we will visit Gethsemane and recall the prayer place and arrest of Jesus by Temple guards and Roman authorities. Next we will visit St. Peter en Gallicantu, a place to recall the questioning of Jesus by Jewish leadership shortly before He was remanded into Roman custody. Leaving Jerusalem for while, we will travel to Bethlehem to recall the place of Jesus’ birth, along with a view of some shepherd's fields, where we will remember those early shepherds who heard the message of the angels.
