What US citizens should know about travel to the Republic of Turkey

Individual travelers (US citizens) participating in our study program are responsible for the following requirements to travel to Turkey:

1. You will need an entry visa (current cost is about $35 at entry counter in airport) to enter Turkey Visa forms completed online at: https://www.evisa.gov.tr/en/

2. Turkish health forms must be filled out online at https://register.health.gov.tr/

3. Turkey currently requires a negative COVID-19 PCR Test within 72 hours of departure from the US. One way to get information on availability of testing sites near you would be to use https://testfortravel.com/ to find a location. (costs normally about $105-110). Official results must be submitted at entry to Turkey. (CTSP has no affiliation and make no warranty of information from the testfortravel.com website. We offer this for information and assistance only. You may find less expensive alternatives with a little research.)

Individual travelers (US citizens) participation in our study program are responsible for the following requirements for return to the US:

Passengers will be required to take a PCR test in Turkey (currently $35 at airport) and get their results before departure on returning flight to the US. Our program will allow time to complete this procedure.

COVID-19 requirements are the sole responsibility of each individual passenger. CTSP offers the information current to the time of the opening of this program. It is possible these restrictions will change. Travelers should monitor the US government website: https://tr.usembassy.gov/ and watch for their COVID update section to stay informed of any changes.
