Egypt is one of the most iconic and thrilling ancient destinations for students of the Bible. The first five books of the Hebrew Bible, the Torah, were produced by God revealing Himself to Moses, who was born, raised and educated in Egypt. That alone makes a visit to the country significant for Christians today.

We offer two different kinds of programs in Egypt:

The first program is the “Life and Journeys of Moses” that includes Egypt (near the Nile) and the Sinai, as well as the southern part of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. Some of the incredible sites will include the Pyramids of Giza, the Sphinx,the Cairo Market, Mt. Sinai (Jebel Musa), St. Catherine’s Monastery, the Red Sea, Jeeps and Camels in Wadi Rum, and much more!

The Life of Moses study program focuses on Moses’ life, how God used him in his time, his education and lessons he learned “on the road” in travel, leading the children of Israel. Special attention is given to the Law, the Covenant, the Tabernacle and the Journey of Israel through the wilderness. If you want to work through how the timeless principles of the Law work in the life of a believer, and you can’t wait to follow the footsteps of Moses, this program is for you!

The second program we offer is “Uncovering Ancient Egypt,” a program that emphasizes the ancient history and culture of Egypt, as Joseph or Moses would have experienced them. It’s hard to remember that both Biblical characters would have seen the same pyramids we can see today!

We will cruise the Nile, and fly over a section of the land to be able to see the most significant sites Egypt has to offer. This program is designed to help a traveler grasp Egyptian history without being bogged down in overwhelming detail, as well introduce the Egyptian worldview and understanding of their gods and their place in the world. Sites will include the Temple of Kom Ombo, the Valley of the Kings, the Pyramids and Cairo Museum, and much more.

If you want to experience walking through towering monuments of antiquity, and take an exciting cruise on the Nile, this is the program for you. We often offer this program with an extension into the Sinai (weather and conditions permitting).
